We are searching for about eight highly motivated and talented Postdoctoral Research Scientists or PhD Students to work in the Surface Nano-Structuring Group (Group Leader: Prof. Y. Lei) at the Institute of Materials Physics and the Center for Nanotechnology at the University of Muenster in Germany. The University of Muenster has a strong nano- and bio- research program located in the Center for Nanotechnology, which is an internationally research institute for nano-technology, bio-science, and materials science. The main research fields in the Surface Nano-Structuring Group include surface nano-patterning (2D and 3D) and molecular surface nano-structures, 1-D nanostructures, and their applications in nano- and bio-devices, and energy-related fields.
The requirements of the Post-doc and PhD positions:
The candidate of Post-doc must have a PhD degree and the candidate of PhD must have a master degree (or equivalent) in materials physics, physical chemistry, semiconductor devices, or bio-chemistry, and all the research background should be related to the nano-science or energy-related fields.
The postdoc candidates should be able to demonstrate a consistently outstanding academic record including publications (at least three 1st-author publications in high-level SCI journals). The PhD candidates should have a solid research background (at least one 1st-author SCI publications).
